The Flash functionality uses chip processing and relies on the same secure network as Interac debit transactions and provides you with all the security benefits associated with Interac Debit.<\/p>\n
Flash payments are subject to limits established by the merchant and the financial institution. Caisse Financial Group limits Flash payments to $100 per transaction, however the merchants\u2019 limits could be lower. If your payment exceeds the set limit, you will be prompted to insert your card and enter your PIN to make your payment.<\/p>\n
As an additional security measure, when the total of all consecutive Flash payments exceeds $200, you will be prompted to insert your card and enter your PIN. This will reset your cumulative limit of $200 and you will be able to continue to use the Flash functionality.<\/p>\n
You will not be liable for losses resulting from circumstances beyond your reasonable control when using Interac<\/em> Flash. This includes losses resulting from technical errors, system problems or fraud.<\/p>\n
